Zoom H1 Nikon D3100 Test

My friend Bursa was nice enough to strum one of his jams while I did initial tests with the Zoom H1 recorder and capture HD video with a Nikon D3100. I tail slated the sound and picture and it was easy to synch in iMovie. I could have done a better job with mic placement. I love the Zoom H1 and its my goes everywhere with me recorder. I use the Zoom H2 foam windscreen with a rubber band. You have to use a windscreen at all times. I think thats a small design flaw, but other than that its a great field recorder.

This is a simple quick video, I will be doing more sophisticated setups with this double system.
